Use Clepen with agents
Clepen is a remote MCP server, so Claude and other agents can generate names, check domains and vet finalists for you. You need a Clepen account. Sign-in happens in your browser the first time an agent connects.
Your connector address
In the Claude apps
- Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Paste the address above and save.
- A browser window opens. Sign in to Clepen and press Allow.
In Claude Code
Then type /mcp inside Claude Code, pick clepen and sign in from the browser window it opens.
Other agents
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP with OAuth works. Add a server with the address above. It registers itself, opens the Clepen sign-in page, and you press Allow.
What an agent can do
- generate_names: a round of names from your brief, or the next round of an existing chat.
- check_domains: which endings are unregistered for a name.
- vet_name: same-name companies, search visibility and trademark risk.
- list_chats, get_chat, update_shortlist: read your chats and keep the shortlist in sync with the app.
Everything runs as you and spends from your daily budget. Disconnect any time from the account menu in Clepen.
