Terms
Last updated 20 September 2026
By using Clepen you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
What Clepen is
A tool that suggests names and runs automated checks on them. The names are suggestions. Picking, clearing and registering a name is your call.
The checks are not legal advice
- "Available" for a domain means it looked unregistered at that moment. Price is not checked, and someone else can register it first.
- Conflict, search visibility and trademark results come from automated web searches. They can miss things and they can be wrong.
- Nothing here is a trademark clearance. Before you commit to a name, search the official registers or ask a trademark professional.
Your content
Your briefs and the names you keep are yours. You give Clepen permission to process them to run the service, including sending them to the AI providers described in the privacy page. Names are generated by AI, so another person may be offered the same or a similar name.
Fair use
- Do not use Clepen to break the law, to impersonate an existing brand, or to squat on someone else's name.
- Do not try to get around budgets, rate limits or sign-in, and do not resell access without permission.
- Accounts that do this can be disabled or deleted.
Accounts and budgets
Keep your password to yourself. Each account has a daily AI budget set by the site's admin. When it runs out, generation pauses until it frees up.
No warranty
Clepen is provided as is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be available, that a name is free to use, or that results are complete. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from relying on a name or a check.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top shows when. Continuing to use Clepen after a change means you accept it.
